Join us on the weekend of World Diabetes Day to celebrate 100 years of insulin and learn more about how to live well with diabetes.

This seminar is suitable for people living with all types of diabetes, their families and carers.

A look back at the history of insulin and how this life-saving drug has changed over the last 100 years. The latest research and innovations in insulin, plus what we have to look forward to in diabetes treatment and management in years to come.

Will Crowe, Occupational Therapist – Inclusive Technology Advisor

How can technology help you to live well with diabetes? We take a look at technology, devices, and apps, both high tech and low tech, including technology to support a healthy diet, exercise, reduce stress, sleep well, and take care of some of the mental load of living with diabetes.

Lived experience panel discussion

Hear from our inspiring panel and bring your questions along to ask them. The panel will include Eliza Bartlett mental health nurse, and Maddie Freeman, Diabetes SA Credentialled Diabetes Educator and Accredited Practising Dietitian.
