Join this webinar to find out more about carbohydrates (carbs) and what foods contain healthy and less healthy carbs and their Glycemic Index (GI). Understanding the role of carbs in diabetes management and general health is essential to understanding how to best manage diabetes to suit your lifestyle and needs.
 
Gain confidence in how to appropriately portion serves of carbs, protein, fats and vegetables for a healthy meal.
 
Topics include: 
  • What are carbohydrates, also known as carbs, and we will also talk about what foods contain carbs.
  • Carbs quality. Are all carbs the same, and what is the best type of carbs to choose to support diabetes management?
  • Carb amount. How much carbs should I be eating, and we will also briefly talk about how to carb count in exchanges which can be a useful tool for some people and their diabetes management.
