Are you new to insulin, or have been on insulin for a while and would like a refresher? Living with Insulin will help you understand insulin, the different products and equipment available, and the importance of looking after your blood glucose levels. At the end of this session you will leave with practical tips and tools that will support you to feel more comfortable and confident in caring for your diabetes.
 
The Living with Insulin program covers:
  • What insulin does in your body and why you need it
  • Products, supplies, and storage
  • Injection techniques
  • Blood glucose monitoring and hypo/hyperglycaemia
  • Diabetes and driving.
Please note that this program is only suitable for adults aged 18 years and older
